About This Workshop

Did you know that certain foods can help to control inflammation?  Many of them are found in the Mediterranean diet, which emphasizes wild-caught fish, fresh fruit and vegetables, and healthy fats like olive oil. Plus, increasing more plant-based foods into your diet—like antioxidant-rich berries, and raw nuts and seeds—boosts energy, decreases stress and helps to promote a healthy glow.

Aside from better lifestyle choices such as improved sleep and hydration, this class will outline the top diet recommendations for anyone dealing with inflammation of any kind—be it weight gain, chronic pain, arthritis, dementia and even cancer. We’ll teach you how to easily incorporate healthy foods like coconut oil into your diet, and which foods are your worst enemy!

This workshop includes:

  • Seasonal, plant-based organic lunch prepared by our Wellness Chef
  • Organic herbal tea and mineral-infused water
  • Nutrition and food education from our Master Nutrition Therapist
  • Recipe of the meal enjoyed
  • Handouts pertaining to class topic
