About This Workshop

Are you confused about how to eat well and feel better? Tired of trying to “get healthy” but are “getting nowhere?” In this workshop, our Wellness Chef and Nutritionist will be your invaluable resources, cutting through all of the nutrition confusion and empowering you with the essentials you need to make healthier food choices.

We’ll discuss how to stock a healthy pantry, fridge and freezer—the key to success when it comes to clean eating. Aside from fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, you’ll learn to fill your kitchen with other nutritious staples including grains, legumes, and canned and frozen foods—brand names are even provided! We’ll also discuss healthier dairy, fish and poultry options, along with the importance of having the right essential basics to every meal (i.e. fats, oils, vinegars, salts and spices) to ensure your healthy cooking success!

This workshop includes:

  • Seasonal, plant-based organic lunch prepared by our Wellness Chef
  • Organic herbal tea and mineral-infused water
  • Nutrition and food education from our Master Nutrition Therapist
  • Recipe of the meal enjoyed
  • Handouts pertaining to class topic

NOTE: We are currently adhering to the policies set forth by the IDPH. Outside of eating and drinking, all guests and staff must wear a mask.
